Workshop: Eurasia in a Geopolitical Globalised World
On 13 May 2024, the OSCE Academy was pleased to host representatives of the Permanent Missions of Finland, Norway, Switzerland, and the United States to the OSCE.
On 25 April 2024, within the framework of the first mobility Dr. Satarkulova has met with the students and faculty of the Marmara University and delivered a presentation about the OSCE Academy, its programmatic and research activities as well as about the education system in Kyrgyzstan in general.
On 16-19 April 2024, the OSCE Academy hosted training sessions within the Young Women for Peace Initiative for Central Asia, a two-year OSCE programme designed to empower young women in Central Asia and enhance their involvement in peace and security processes. The programme is organized by the OSCE Gender Issues Programme with the financial support of the European Union.
On 16 April 2024, the Director of the OSCE Academy Dr. Kate Walker, and the Director of the State Agency of Intellectual Property and Innovation under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic (Kyrgyzpatent) Rakhat Kerimbaeva signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
From 8 till 12 April 2024, the OSCE Academy representatives participated in a first in-person meeting of Central Asia: Governance, History, Anthropology & Neighborhoods (CAGHAN) team.
