On March 3rd, 2012, Alumni chapter in Kyrgyzstan participated in the Open House Day, organized for Bishkek-based candidates interested in the OSCE Academy's Masters Programme in Politics and Security and Masters Programme in Economic Governance and Development.
Annual Alumni Surveys reveal achievements of our alumni, one of which is - publications. In 2011 twelve alumni published their works in publications of the research institutions and regional and international journals
Janyl Bokonbaeva, one of the first alumnae of the OSCE Academy's Masters Programme in Politics and Security (Central Asia) has published a monograph "Kyrgyzstan-OSCE- ways of co-operation." The author undertakes a comprehensive analysis of co-operation between Kyrgyzstan and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).
Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Center in Bishkek, with support of the Diplomatic Academy of Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of International Affairs of Kyrgyz Republic organized a course "Preparation for Work for an International Organizations (UN, OSCE, Council of Europe, CIS, CSTO and SCO) and International Elections Observers," that was held in Moscow on 05-16 September 2011.
On September 3rd, 2011, the OSCE Academy Alumni Network conducted the first Alumni Conference "Central Asia: Comprehensive Security and Sustainable Development."
On September 4 2011, Alumni Conference "Central Asia: Comprehensive Security and Sustainable Development" was followed by the Alumni Retreat at the Ala-Archa National Park.
On June 15, 2011, the OSCE Academy has signed an Agreement with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan allowing its graduates from Tajikistan to intern at the Ministry.
Following the meetings in Dushanbe and Tashkent, on May 27th, 2011 alumni met with Mr. Talant Sultanov, Vice-President for Finance at the American University of Central Asia and active public figure in Bishkek.
On May18th, 2011 the OSCE Academy's alumni in Uzbekistan met with H.E. Istvan Venczel, the Ambassador of Hungary, the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Uzbekistan.
On April 28th, 2011 the OSCE Academy's alumni in Tajikistan met with Mr. Alexander Zouev, the UN Resident Coordinator and the UNDP Resident Representative in Tajikistan.
