Dr. Jo Thori Lind Visiting Lecturer Course taught: Economics of Sustainable Development

Short Bio

Dr. Jo Thori Lind is the Associate professor for ESOP and Department of Economics, University of Oslo. He also was the Researcher in Ragnar Frisch Centre for Economic Research in 2009, visiting fellow at Cornell University and CESifo (Munich), and Post doctoral fellow at the Department of Economics, University of Oslo. He has His Majesty, The King of Norway’s Gold medal from the University of Oslo for the Ph.D. dissertation, 2005. He also was awarded as 2004 EEA Young Economist and 2002-03 Graduate Student Fellowship from the “Network on the Effects of Inequality on Economic Performance”, MacArthur Foundation. Dr. Lind is affiliated to such organizations as Center for the Study of Civil War (CSCW) at PRIO, Equality, Social Organization and Performance (ESOP), CESifo Research Network. He was Programme committee member (2006-2008) and head of committee (2008)  in Annual meeting of the Norwegian economic association.
