This occasion was also used to sign the Memorandum of Cooperation and Collaboration between the Regional Office of the Institute for War and Peace Reporting (IWPR) in Central Asia, represented by the Director Mr. Abahon Sultonazarov and the OSCE Academy. The Memorandum suggests a cooperation in performing joint activities within the project “Giving voice, driving change – from the borderland to the steppes” funded by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs between January 2018 – December 2020. Some of the planned activities are: online meetings; training for journalists and early career analysts; as well as internship opportunities for  Academy’s MA students in IWPR offices in Bishkek and Dushanbe. It also envisages organizing two field trips to Ukraine and Georgia in 2019 and 2020 for those who passed the journalism training and policy paper writing seminar.
