The “Perspectives 20-30 Online Academy” Participants learn Interview Methodology

On 25 June thirty two young professionals and students from 29 OSCE participating States met at the fourth workshop within the framework of the nine-month “Perspectives 20-30 Online Academy” which started in March 2021. Participants learned about various types of interview techniques and major differences between them.

Dr. Asel Doolotkeldieva, Lector of the OSCE Academy in Bishkek, Ms. Anastasia Fusco, Adviser on Youth and Security at the OSCE, and Dr. Alexandra Dienes, Senior Researcher at FES Regional Office for Cooperation and Peace in Europe, presented the main techniques employed in social science research, as well as the methods of analysis and interpretation of data obtained from interviews.

At the end of the workshop, participants presented and discussed their group research projects with their Mentors.

The nine-month “Perspectives 20-30 Online Academy” was launched on 26 March for thirty two young professionals and students from 29 OSCE participating States. The Office of the OSCE – The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe Secretary General, in partnership with the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR), the OSCE Academy in Bishkek, and the FES ROCPE strongly supports this initiative.
