On 25 November 15 students of the MA Programme in Economic Governance and Development were awarded with Certificates of successful completion of the Project Management training. Certificates were signed by H.E. Ambassador Dr Pierre Von Arx, Head of the OSCE Center in Bishkek and Ms Indira Satarkulova, Acting Director of the OSCE Academy in Bishkek.
This training was conducted by Mr Ernist Turdubaev, visiting lecturer of the OSCE Academy in Bishkek, who has over 6 years of teaching/working experience in the Project Management area at the OSCE Centre in Bishkek, United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), University of Central Asia (UCA) and American University of Central Asia (AUCA).
During two intensive weeks of the training guest lecturers from the OSCE Centre in Bishkek Mr Andrey Butsman, National Programme Officer, Politico-Military Dimension, Mrs Nargiza Kasymalieva, Senior Project Assistant and Mr Azamat Alkadyrov, Senior Programme Assistant, Economic & Environmental Dimension have also shared with their experience in project management. Participating students learned how to plan projects and mitigate the risks of the projects; how to allocate resources and create a team for project execution as well as for monitoring and closing of projects.
