On 6 November 2017 the OSCE Academy in Bishkek launched the Policy Paper Writing Seminar for young scholars, experts from the region and Afghanistan. This seminar will take place until 10 November 2017.
The main purpose of the seminar is to enhance the capacity of participants in writing policy briefs on various regional topics through lectures, class discussions, group work, individual and peer-editing sessions. The seminar will be jointly taught by two trainers Dr Emil Joroev and Mr Chris Rickleton.
Participants will enhance their analytical and writing skills to present results of their research and regional studies in formats required by policy journals. As an outcome of this project several best papers are expected to be published in the framework of the Central Asia Policy Briefs series. The OSCE Academy seeks to create and maintain a regional network of active young scholars who can potentially become leaders and decision makers.
