On 25 April students of the MA Programme in Economic Governance and Development Programme visited the Coca-Cola Bishkek Bottlers Company within the course on “Economic Law” organized by Dr Ulanbek Akmatbaev. The Company’s Human Relations Manager informed about the history of the company in Kyrgyzstan, its achievements and its role in the economic development of the country as one of the largest foreign direct investments. The host also talked about the global system of the Coca-Cola Company, its values and the importance of establishing a particular job motivating atmosphere.
The presentation was followed by a plant tour where students observed the full cycle of production of soft-drinks and the general work inside the factory. Afterwards, students were invited for a lunch at the factory’s canteen where they received presents from the company.
