On 29 April the OSCE Academy welcomed the first group of 6 MA students from the Kazakh-German University in Almaty, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, for a short research stay. This visit is organized within the partnership between the OSCE Academy and the Kazakh-German University in Almaty, concluded in February 2019. The students are in the process of writing their MA theses on democratization in post-soviet countries, Muslim identity in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, military-economic and military-political cooperation and gender stereotypes. The OSCE Academy provides students the access to library resources, online databases, research and publications, as well as with contacts of experts in the field of the student’s theses research.
