Five analytical papers on the problems of migrants have been selected for this collection. This theme was chosen in line with the AGRUMIG project goals ("Leaving something behind" - Migration Governance and agricultural change and rural change in "home" communities: comparative experiences from Europe, Asia and Africa). This project is funded by the European Union's Horizon 2020 grant and focuses on migration and agricultural research and community change. In their articles, the authors have tried to explore some aspects of the migration process in Kyrgyzstan.
