The admission to the MA in Economic Governance and Development Programme consists of several stages:
Stage 1: December - March
Formal call for applications is released. Application forms with required documents are accepted.
Stage 2: Late March
Applications are reviewed and successful candidates are shortlisted for next round of selection.
Stage 3: April - May
Shortlisted applicants are invited to take written examinations and tests. Tests are conducted in capital cities of Central Asian countries and Afghanistan. The exams consist of a) English Grammar (see a sample here), b) Specialized multiple choice test on Economics (see a sample here), and c) Test of Written English (an essay).
Stage 4
Applicants who pass Stage 3 are invited for personal interviews. Interviews are normally conducted in Bishkek, Astana, Almaty, Tashkent, Dushanbe, and Kabul.
Stage 5
Final Admission committee makes a final decision. For the impartiality and transparency of the process, some of the members of the Final Admission Committee are invited externally from international organizations in Bishkek. Recruitment Schedule
Interviews and written tests take place in the following cities. Successful applicants will be informed of the exact date, time and location of where recruitment takes place. The OSCE Academy does not cover interview expenses of shortlisted applicants. The following schedule is tentative and subject to change.
