On 21 April 2022, the OSCE Academy welcomed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Kyrgyz Republic H.E. Shigeki Maeda. Dr. Alexander Wolters, Director of the OSCE Academy, introduced into the activities and projects of the Academy and shortly presented plans for the future to expand educational and research programmes. Following the introduction, Ambassador Maeda further engaged Dr. Asel Doolotkeldieva, Senior Lecturer at the OSCE Academy, to be briefed on current developments in Kyrgyzstan and the wider region of Central Asia.
