On 16 June 2022, the MA Programme of the OSCE Academy in Economic Governance and Development was awarded in the category of Academic Integrity and Academic Freedom at "The Way to Excellence" Quality Award. Director of the OSCE Academy, Dr. Alexander Wolters, and Head of Department of Graduate Education, Cholpon Osmonalieva, participated in the event and received the award from the Ombudsperson of the Kyrgyz Republic Atyr Abdrakhmatova.
The event was organized by the Agency for Quality Assurance in Education "EdNet" in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic and aimed at identifying best practices in high education, as well as promoting the concept of a culture of quality in the high education system. The winners were announced and awarded from among the programmes accredited by the Agency in ten categories. The MA Programme in "Economic Governance and Development" of the OSCE Academy has recently undergone the accreditation process conducted by the Agency for Quality Assurance in Education "EdNet" and has received accreditation for 5 years.
