Economic Governance and Development programme welcomes the new class

On 13 January 2014 the OSCE Academy welcomed the third cohort of students of the MA in Economic Governance and Development. Eighteen students from five Central Asian states and Afghanistan started the 15-months programme, which will offer an interdisciplinary curriculum in economics, governance and development based on international standards of teaching. Instructors for short-term modules and continuous courses will include professionals coming from the U.S.A., Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Switzerland and other countries.

Students will complete the academic coursework by the end of December 2014 before starting an eight-week internship and writing the masters dissertation. Students who successfully complete all requirements will be awarded the degrees in April 2015. The programme has the accreditation from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic.
