OSCE Academy Representatives attend MOCCA Conference in Istanbul

Between 3-6 January 2023, OSCE Academy representatives, Alina Alymkulova, HR Specialist, and Aibek Samakov, Research and Training Specialist, participated in conference within the research project "MOCCA: Multilevel Orders of Corruption in Central Asia," a Horizon 2020 project led by the University of Lund, Sweden. The kick-off event in Istanbul was a joint event with a project "Central Asian Law" also led by the University of Lund and gathered around 75 project members, partners, and interested parties from Europe and Central Asia.

MOCCA is a research and staff exchange programme intended to contribute to the global and national efforts of understanding and counteracting corruption by conducting research on the multilevel orders of corruption in five countries in post-Soviet Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan). The OSCE Academy in Bishkek is a Central Asian Project Partner.
