On 13 May 2024, the OSCE Academy was pleased to host representatives of the Permanent Missions of Finland, Norway, Switzerland, and the United States to the OSCE. Deputy Director Dr. Indira Satarkulova welcomed Nicolas Plattner, Deputy Head of Mission, Permanent Mission of Switzerland to the OSCE; Riku Rantanen, Special Advisor, Permanent Mission of Finland to the OSCE; Nora Stai, Advisor, Permanent Mission of Norway to the OSCE; and Kent Mullen, Political Officer, the U.S. Mission to the OSCE. They were provided with a tour of the OSCE Academy, during which they observed a lecture on Project Management and interacted with students and lecturer Dr. Waleed Gumaa, who also serves as the Director of Master Programmes at the Riga Graduate School of Law. Following the tour, Dr. Satarkulova briefed the representatives on the recent updates and ongoing activities of the OSCE Academy. The meeting was joined by the students from both BA and MA programmes, who shared insights into their educational journey, motivations for applying, and aspirations after graduation.
