On 20th of June the OSCE Academy hosted a lecture of Mr. Talant Sultanov, director of National Institute of Strategic Studies.
In his talk "The Role of Think Tanks in public policy" Mr. Sultanov briefly presented the goals, objectives and the activities of the NISS in Kyrgyzstan and shared information about the intellectual and analytical work in the formation of Kyrgyz public policy.
Students had a chance to discuss with Mr. Sultanov the role of think tanks in decision-making processes and activities and functions of centers of analysis in general.
