OSCE Academy students selected for international internships

The OSCE Academy has agreed with its partner institutions about selected students of MA in Economic Governance and Development to complete international internships. Thus, Viktoriia Petrova and Suray Rejepova were approved to do eight-week internship at the OSCE Secretariat in Vienna. Also, Meerim Topchubaeva will head to the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI) and Saule Aripova was approved to have internship at the Geneva Centre for Security Policy. All three institutions have long been the Academy's committed partners.

Students of the Academy's MA programmes are expected to complete eight-week long internship at various research, academic, policy institutions either in Central Asia or abroad. The internship complements theoretical knowledge of students and is aimed at introducing the Academy's prospective graduates to the daily realities of successfully operating institutions.

The Master of Arts in Economic Governance and Development is a 15-month programme that offers an interdisciplinary curriculum in economics, governance and development based on international standards of teaching. The programme is designed for students who wish to broaden their education and gain the knowledge and skills necessary for professional or academic careers in the fields of economics, development and governance.
