The OSCE Academy in Bishkek is a public foundation, created in 2002 as a result of the partnership between the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE). The OSCE Academy promotes values and principles of the OSCE through research, post-graduate education, professional trainings, and intellectual exchange. The OSCE Academy provides an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the Finance Department. Key duties and responsibilities of the Trainees are as follows:
- Participate in maintaining proper document flow in the implementation of financial and economic activities of the OSCE Academy (participation in monitoring the availability of primary accounting documents, copying, scanning and otherwise ensuring the continuity of the financial and administrative workflow process, organizing and streamlining archiving documents, analyzing, drafting and working with labor documents, business contracts, drawing up the necessary correspondence with government agencies, organizations and partners, etc. );
- provide assistance on travel arrangements for Staff, Students and Faculty of the OSCE Academy;
- provide assistance in the process of archiving financial documents;
- interact and the provide daily administrative support to the Management and staff of the OSCE Academy;
- implement other duties at the request of the Management.
Qualifications and eligibility:
- Completed BA degree and/or diploma of higher education in Economics, finances;
- Experienced PC user (knowledge of MS Office programmes (Word, Excel, etc.);
- Fluency in Russian and English (written and oral) languages;
- Ability to work independently, timely implement tasks;
- Ability to learn fast and to work in a team; a developed sense of responsibility and communication skills;
- Excellent analytical skills, experience of working with a large amount of information and documentation within a short period of time;
- Experience in relevant areas is an asset.
