OSCE Academy signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the French Institute for Central Asian Studies

On 22 February 2022 Dr. Alexander Wolters, Director of the OSCE Academy in Bishkek, and Dr. Adrien Fauve, Director of the French Institute for Central Asian Studies (IFEAC), signed a Memorandum of Cooperation and Collaboration. The goal of the partnership is to establish long-term scientific cooperation between the two institutions aimed at the implementation of joint projects and ideas. Under this Memorandum, it is planned to organize joint research projects, round tables, conferences, and seminars, as well as experts exchange and student internships.

The OSCE Academy and IFEAC previously collaborated in 2017 and 2021. In 2017 the OSCE Academy organized the workshop “Contested Global Governance, Transformed Global Governors?” in cooperation with the IFEAC and other partner institutions within the framework of the research project GLOBALCONTEST funded by the French National Research Agency (ANR). In 2021 the OSCE Academy hosted the launch of the e-book for researchers and students: the “European Handbook of Central Asian Studies” organized by the IFEAC.
