Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees of the OSCE Academy is a corporate body created to govern the management and operations, of the OSCE Academy . It shall have all the powers and duties specified in the Regulations, and the Charter of Academy, as registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic on 6 August 2004.

The Board of Trustees is constituted, as noted in the Charter of the OSCE Academy, by representatives of the Central Asian states, members of the donor community, representatives of the OSCE and and international academic institutions. 

The Board of Trustees currently include:

  • The Governments of:
    • Kazakhstan
    • Kyrgyzstan
    • Tajikistan
    • Turkmenistan
    • Uzbekistan
    • Finland
    • Germany
    • Canada
    • USA
  • the Geneva Center for Security Policy
  • OSCE Centre in Bishkek
  • the OSCE Conflict Prevention Center. 

The trusteeships of the OSCE, donor community and the Central Asian states are institutional and not individual.
