Public Talk on Russian Foreign Policy

On 13 December 2013 Dr. Kirill Nourzhanov, Senior Lecturer at the Australian National University delivered a public lecture at the OSCE Academy on the topic of “Russian Foreign Policy in the 'Near Abroad': Imperialism or Legitimate Pursuit of National Interests?” The event, attended by the Academy’s students, faculty and staff, focused on theoretical approaches and explanations of the Russian foreign policy and attempted to critically analyze such concepts used in reference to the Russian foreign policy as imperialism, national interests and regional hegemony. The lecture was followed by Q&A and discussion with students of the Academy.

In 2009 Dr. Kirill Nourzhanov served as a Teaching and Research Fellow at the OSCE Academy and taught International Relations in MA in Politics and Security programme.
