Orientation Day is held at the OSCE Academy

On 1 September 2023, the OSCE Academy hosted its Orientation Day for newly admitted MA students 2023-2025, BA students and their parents. This year marked a special occasion as the OSCE Academy also welcomed the first cohort of students of the MA Programme in Human Rights and Sustainability. The incoming classes are comprised of students representing countries of Central Asia, Afghanistan, Mongolia, Russia, Turkiye. Orientation is hosted at the beginning of each year for all newly accepted students.

In her welcome address, Acting Director, Dr. Indira Satarkulova provided overview about Academy’s history, developments, current programmes, activities, policies and regulations to help them get ready for classes, learn more about student life on campus, get familiar with university practices and policies and get connected to the resources and supports available to them as members of the OSCE Academy family!

The one-day long program also included introductions to the Academy’s departments, faculty, academic programme overviews and sessions on different topics.
