MAHRS students learn about International Protection of Refugees

On 8 September the OSCE Academy hosted a guest lecture by Mr. Ivan Saleyeu, Head of National Office, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Representative Office in Kyrgyzstan. Mr. Saleyev met the MA students of Human Rights and Sustainability Programme and delivered a presentation on Introduction to International Protection of Refugees. Students had an opportunity to learn more about the historical background, legal framework of international refugee protections as well as about the role of the UNHCR in refugee protection.
