Guest Lecture on Radicalisation and Violent Extremism

On 12 September 2023 MA students of the Politics and Security Programme had an opportunity to meet Ms. Lilla Schumicky-Logan, Deputy Executive Director and Head of Portfolio Management at the Global Community Engagement and Resilience Fund (GCERF). Ms. Schumicky-Logan delivered a presentation on “Radicalisation that leads to Violent Extremism: Root Causes and Prevention Mechanisms” and also briefed students about the activities of GCERF. Throughout the presentation students were actively engaged in the discussion and also had chance to ask their question related to this important topic.
