The OSCE Academy has published new Central Asia Security Policy Brief

The OSCE Academy in Bishkek has published new Central Asia Security Policy Brief by Rashid Gabdulhakov “Central Asia Security Policy Brief # 14: GEOGRAPHICAL ENCLAVES OF THE FERGHANA VALLEY: DO GOOD FENCES MAKE GOOD NEIGHBORS? ”  

This policy brief provides an overview of the Ferghana Valley enclaves and looks at various factors such as: territory, population, resources, legal aspects, economic characteristics, and history of these enclaves.

Rashid Gabdulhakov is an alumnus of the OSCE Academy in Bishkek, class of 2013. He received his BA in Political Science at Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington State, USA and has worked with UN Volunteers in Uzbekistan.
