The Academy graduates the second class of MA in Economic Governance and Development

On 30 April 2014 the OSCE Academy graduated the class of 2014 of the MA in Economic Governance and Development. The graduation ceremony featured 21 students representing all Central Asian states and Afghanistan join the ranks of the Academy’s alumni. Head of the OSCE Centre in Bishkek, Amb Sergey Kapinos and the OSCE Academy Director Dr Pal Dunay welcomed the guests and delivered inspiring farewell to the students.

Speaking on behalf of the graduating class, Gulaikhan Kubayeva (Kazakhstan) and Sadat Masood Sayed (Afghanistan) expressed huge gratitude to OSCE Academy and its donors for the study and professional development opportunities, and articulated readiness to make a feasible contribution to region's development using all knowledge and skills received at the Academy.

The MA in Economic Governance and Development was launched in 2012 as a second graduate programme aiming at preparing professionals in governance, economic development, public policy and related fields for the needs of Central Asian states and societies.
