On 23 November 2015, OSCE Academy in Bishkek launched the International Policy Paper Writing Seminar for young scholars, experts from the region and Afghanistan. This seminar will take place until 28 November 2015.

The main purpose of the seminar is to enhance the capacity of participants in writing policy briefs on various regional topics through lectures, class discussions, group work, individual and peer-editing sessions. The seminar will be jointly taught by two trainers Dr Alexander Wolters and Mr Chris Rickleton.

Participants will enhance their analytical and writing skills to present results of their research and regional studies in formats required by policy journals. Moreover, participants will have a chance to present their papers to wider public including current students of the Academy during a seminar to be held on 28th of November 2015.

As an outcome of this project several best papers are expected to be published in the framework of the Central Asia Policy Briefs series.  The OSCE Academy seeks to create and maintain a regional network of active young scholars who can potentially become leaders and decision makers.
