Ms. Bulia discussed the work of the European Centre for Minority Issues--its mission, organization, possibilities for student involvement, and information about some of their current projects. Dr. Popova, on the other hand,  discussed issues pertaining to minorities, minority rights, and the European Protection Regime. Following the  presentations, participants discussed whether minority rights should be protected and watched a short film about the concept of a minority.
