On May18th, 2011 the OSCE Academy's alumni in Uzbekistan met with H.E. Istvan Venczel, the Ambassador of Hungary, the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Uzbekistan.
Mr. Venczel talked to the alumni and expressed a great interest in learning about the OSCE Academy. Alumni had a chance to discuss with Mr. Ambassador various issues concerning activity of the OSCE Center in Uzbekistan, problems which exist in the country and region as a whole. Mr. Venzel gladly told about projects and future plans of the OSCE in Uzbekistan and answered on questions regarding partnership of the OSCE and Uzbek government.
The OSCE Academy's Alumni have shared their professional successes and have told about influence of the Academy on their subsequent careers.
«I see that influence of the OSCE Academy grows annually. It is pleasant to realize that the Academy has the big authority, and it is not political, but, in a greater degree, professional authority. I wish you further development and prosperity», - has concluded Mr. Istvan Venczel.

The meeting with Mr. Ambassador was followed by an informal dinner, where Alumni shared their latest news and discussed further activities of the Alumni Network.
