CAREC Institute’s Research Grant on Digitalization of Infrastructure and Decarbonization in Central Asia

In the year of 2023, the three Post-Doctoral Research Fellows of the OSCE Academy - Dr Rahat Sabyrbekov, Dr Aizhan Sharshenova and Dr Burulcha Sulaimanova received a research grant from the CAREC Institute within the framework of its “Leveraging Digital Technology for Green, Sustainable and Inclusive Growth”, CTTN Research Grants Program.

The Post-Doctoral Research Fellows of the Academy conducted a year-long research study on the topic of “Digitalization of Infrastructure and Decarbonization in Central Asia: Opportunities and Challenges” to develop a research-based report with policy recommendations for Central Asian governments.  The results of the study will be published and shared with the public in the year of 2024.
