USAID WAVE Roundtable on Water Recourses

On 12 March 2024, Dr. Indira Satarkulova, Deputy Director of the OSCE Academy, participated in a roundtable dedicated to the discussion of water management in the region. The event was organized by the USAID Regional Water and Environment Project (WAVE) in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic. Participants – representatives of different universities, research and non-profit organizations and donor community discussed capacities and ideas to sustain current related educational programmes offered by several universities in Kyrgyzstan and to develop new MA and PhD programmes as well as research, training opportunities in the field of water resources and related areas, along with a five-year roadmap.
