Finnish Ambassador to Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan visits the OSCE Academy

On 14 February 2025 H.E. Janne Heiskanen, Ambassador of Finland to Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan has paid a visit to the OSCE Academy, following his attendance of the Graduation Ceremony of the master’s students of the Academy a day before. Ambassador Heiskanen had a meeting with Dr. Pal Dunay, Interim Director of the OSCE Academy, and Ms. Victoria Orazova, Head of the International Department, to learn about the OSCE Academy’s activities, programmes and partnerships, as well as to discuss the challenges and opportunities. Dr. Dunay also mentioned the Academy’s plans and the upcoming activities related to Helsinki +50, in light of the Finnish Chairpersonship of the OSCE in 2025. Following the meeting, Ambassador Heiskanen had a tour around the building and gained familiarity with its capacity to serve the needs of carrying out the functions of the Academy, including teaching and research.
