OSCE Academy Management Presents to the Board of Trustees

On 9 July 2025, Dr. Pal Dunay, the Director, and Dr. Shairbek Dzhuraev, the Deputy Director of the OSCE Academy, presented at the Board of Trustees (BoT) meeting which was held in hybrid mode. The BoT meeting presided by H.E. Ambassador Alexey Rogov, Head of the OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek and Chairman of the BoT of the OSCE Academy, was opened by Ms. Kate Fearon, Director of the Conflict Prevention Centre of the OSCE Secretariat, and Ms. Edith Vakkilainen, Advisor to the Permanent Mission of Finland to the OSCE. The meeting was dedicated to the discussion of current challenges and the opportunities the OSCE Academy is facing.

Following the opening remarks, Dr. Dunay provided an update to the members of the BoT on the latest activities and achievements of the OSCE Academy and underlined the areas, that require special attention in the second half of 2025. During the discussion, representatives of Austria, Finland, Germany, Norway, and Switzerland, have expressed their support and commitment to the OSCE Academy and requested for some follow up measures to be taken, to ensure smooth continuation of Academy's activities. Current Donors and the OSCE Secretariat also encouraged other participating States of the OSCE to step in and contribute to the OSCE Academy's budget, as it remains a flagship project of the Organization.
