German Bundestag’s Foreign Affairs Committee Visited OSCE Academy

On 23 October 2025, Mr. Stefan Mayer, a member of the German Bundestag’s Foreign Affairs Committee and the CDU/CSU parliamentary group’s rapporteur for Central Asian countries, along with Mr. Constantin Zelenty, Deputy Head of Mission at the German Embassy in Kyrgyzstan, visited OSCE Academy in Bishkek.

They received a warm welcome from Dr. Sebastian Mayer, DAAD Associate Professor, who guided them on a tour of the Academy’s facilities. Subsequently, the guests met with Dr. Martin Kreeb, a Visiting Lecturer at the OSCE Academy, Dr. Burulcha Sulaimanova, Head of the Research and Training Department, and Ms. Victoria Orazova, Head of the International Department. Together, they discussed the Academy’s programmes, academic and research initiatives, and its role in fostering regional cooperation and democratic governance.
