Today, the OSCE Academy held training on effective communications for more than 50 public servants authorized for the prevention of corruption in the ministries and agencies of Kyrgyzstan. The event was organized in cooperation with the Prime Minister’s Office of the Kyrgyz Republic and with support of the UNDP in Kyrgyzstan. This workshop attracted officials from 24 public bodies, as well as representatives of civil society and non-governmental organizations.
Acting director of the OSCE Academy Ms. Gulnura Toralieva shared her experience on public relations and communications and also spoke about effective coverage of anticorruption actions. Head of the Department on Preventing Corruption at the Prime Minister's Office of the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Tilek Sayakbaev attended workshop and informed about measures taken in this direction.
Some features of press-releases preparation and publication, sources and channels of information distribution, main communications instruments, skills on effective relations with mass media representatives and anti-crisis communications were discussed during the training.
