Certificate Training in Peace and Conflict

From 16 to 20 May, the OSCE Academy in Bishkek in partnership with CRISP conducted a Certificate Training in Peace and Conflict for junior and mid-level professionals from civil society, NGOs, and governmental organizations. The training provided 26 participants from Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Russia  with a comprehencive introduction to concepts, tools, and methods in the field of conflict transformation. During the course, participants explored the key terms, concepts and tools of conflict analysis. In the second part of the training,  the conflict situation KODORI was implemented, dealing with proto-typical challenges of a post-war situation. Participants had a chance to play a role of key stakeholders and negotiate a comprehensive peace agreement. The whole training course was held interactively, giving space for reflection as well as an exchange of experiences between the participants.
