Research Methods and Measuring Human Rights in the European Union

On 1-2 June 2022, Anja Mihr, DAAD Associated Professor at the OSCE Academy, who is member of the Scientific Committee of the Fundamental Rights Agency (FRA) of the European Union since 2018, co-organized the conference ‘Research Methods to Measure Human Rights Compliance in Europe,’ jointly with the and German Ministry of Justice, in Berlin, Germany. The event was opened by Sigrid Jacoby, Representative for Human Rights, Ministry of Justice, Federal Republic of Germany, Berlin, Angelika Schlunck, State Secretary to the Federal Ministry of Justice, Federal Republic of Germany, Berlin, Dora Kostakopoulou, Chair, Scientific Committee FRA, and Anja Mihr, Scientific Committee FRA. Within three Plenary session and three Thematic Round-Tables researchers, scholars and experts from across various research methods and methodologies measuring human rights across a variety of policy areas such as migration, Artificial Intelligence and including but not limited to: the global information society, corporate social responsibility, and the environment.
