Prof. Gleason Talks on the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank
On 10 April 2015 Professor Gregory Gleason from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque and the George C. Marshall Center in Garmisch-Partenkirchen held a presentation at the OSCE Academy on “The Meaning of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB)”.

Public Lecture on Kazakhstan’s Experience of Building a Market Economy
On 9 April 2015 the Academy held a public lecture by Dr Roman Vakulchuk, senior researcher of the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs, on “Kazakhstan’s Emerging Economy: Between State and Market”. The presentation was based on the book recently published by Dr Vakulchuk.

CSTO Secretary General Mr Nikolay Bordyuzha Gave a Talk on Regional Security
On 3 April 2015, the Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Mr Nikolay Bordyuzha delivered a public talk at the OSCE Academy, focusing on the role and capacity of the CSTO in addressing regional security challenges in Central Asia.

Ambassador Krutko Delivers a Public Talk on Russian Foreign Policy in the CIS at the OSCE Academy
On 19 March 2015 the OSCE Academy hosted the Russian Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic, H.E. Andrey Krutko, who held a public presentation on the Russian foreign policy in the CIS. The event gathered a large audience consisting of the students and staff of the OSCE Academy as well as interested diplomats and experts.

New Stage in the OSCE Conflict Prevention and Management Activities
On 3rd of March, Ms Rasa Ostrauskaite (Deputy Director of the Conflict Prevention Centre of the OSCE, Vienna) held a public lecture on "The Role of the OSCE in Conflict Prevention and Management: Towards New Challenges?" at the OSCE Academy in Bishkek. It focused on the Ukrainian crisis, as a turning point in the OSCE conflict management activities.
