2 February, 2013 - students of the OSCE Academy in Bishkek visited the orphanage in order to provide a financial and moral assistance. Similar visits to different orphanages are planned on an ongoing basis.

On May 28, 2012, the OSCE Academy has signed an Agreement with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Afghanistan allowing its graduates from Afghanistan to intern at the Ministry.

On May 5-6 OSCE Academy has conducted the 2nd Alumni Conference on Comprehensive Security and Sustainable Development in Bishkek. Around thirty alumni from Central Asia and Afghanistan participated in the conference. This year the conference was opened by the public lecture "Securing Central Asia" by Dr. Sally Cummings, Senior Lecturer, University of St. Andrews. 16 alumni presented their papers within the three OSCE dimensions-panels: Political Military, Human and Economic-Environmental.
