Visit to the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs
Between 19 and 22 December 2016 staff members of the Academy had a working visit to the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI) in Oslo, Norway, one of the major partners and donors of the OSCE Academy.

OSCE Academy in Bishkek holds graduation ceremony for 44 students
The students received their Diplomas signed by the Head of the OSCE Centre in Bishkek, H. E. Ambassador Dr Pierre Von Arx and Acting Director of the Academy, Ms Indira Satarkulova.

British Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan gave a lecture for the students of the Academy
On 8 December 2016, British Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan, H.E. Robin Ord-Smith, gave a lecture on "Britain after Brexit" for the students of the OSCE Academy.

Students of the Academy completed the Project Management training
On 25 November 15 students of the MA Programme in Economic Governance and Development were awarded with Certificates of successful completion of the Project Management training.

Round table on the 2016 US Presidential Election
On 22 November the OSCE Academy in Bishkek organized a round table titled: "The 2016 US Presidential Election: Impact on Central Asia" for the students of the MA Programme in Politics and Security as part of the course "Theory & Issues of International Relations".

Students of the OSCE Academy met with the Secretary General of the Austrian Ministry of European and International Affairs Dr Michael Linhart
On November 9, 2016 the OSCE Center in Bishkek and the Austrian Embassy to Kyrgyzstan gave a chance to the students of the OSCE Academy in Bishkek to meet with the delegation from Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Austria headed by Secretary General of the Austrian Ministry of European and International Affairs Dr Michael Linhart.

On October 26, 2016 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Austria to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan, Dr. Gerhard Sailler and the Deputy Head of the OSCE Centre in Bishkek, Mr Valeriu Chiveri visited the OSCE Academy.
