On 1 March Alumni chapter in Kyrgyzstan participated in the Alumni Breakfast, devoted to the topic of leadership; and in the Open House Day, organized for Bishkek-based candidates interested in the OSCE Academy's Masters Programmes.

On 7-8 September 2013 the OSCE Academy in Bishkek held its 2nd Alumni Reunion of the Master of Arts in Politics and Security and of the Master of Arts in Economic Governance and Development.

On June 25, 2013, the OSCE Academy has re-signed an Agreement with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic allowing its graduates from Kyrgyzstan to intern at the Ministry.

On May 28, 2012, the OSCE Academy has signed an Agreement with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Afghanistan allowing its graduates from Afghanistan to intern at the Ministry.

On May 5-6 OSCE Academy has conducted the 2nd Alumni Conference on Comprehensive Security and Sustainable Development in Bishkek. Around thirty alumni from Central Asia and Afghanistan participated in the conference. This year the conference was opened by the public lecture "Securing Central Asia" by Dr. Sally Cummings, Senior Lecturer, University of St. Andrews. 16 alumni presented their papers within the three OSCE dimensions-panels: Political Military, Human and Economic-Environmental.
