Academy Strengthens Cooperation with Donors and Partners

On 22 February a delegation from the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs visited the OSCE Academy in Bishkek. Norwegian Ambassador to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan H.E. Ole Johan Bjørnøy and Norwegian Honorary Consul Ms. Aijan Chynybaeva met alumni to exchange views about the Academy’s Alumni Network activities and its role in furthering the professional and academic development of our alumni.

Alumni and Experts Meet to Discuss the Gender Issues in Central Asia

On 15-16 February the OSCE Academy organized a workshop dedicated to “Gender Issues in Central Asia” for its alumni and external guests. The two-day workshop gathered about 40 participants who aimed at identifying contemporary problems related to gender issues in politics and security, in the economic sphere and in the social and legal fields in the region.
