On 25 September 2025, the OSCE Academy in Bishkek welcomed Dr. Robert Karaszewski from the Abu Dhabi School of Management. During his visit, Dr. Karaszewski met with Dr. Pal Dunay, Director of the OSCE Academy; Dr. Shairbek Dzhuraev, Deputy Director; Dr. Burulcha Sulaimanova, Head of Research and Training Department; and Ms. Victoria Orazova, Head of International Department.

On 17 September 2025, the OSCE Academy welcomed Ms. Liliana Śmiech, Director General for International Affairs at the Ludovika University of Public Service in Budapest, and Mr. Dávid Bíró, Senior Advisor to the Director General for International Affairs, Coordinator of the Ludovika Center for Turkic Studies. During the meeting, the sides presented the programmes and activities of both institutions and discussed potential areas of cooperation, including internship and Erasmus+ opportunities, joint research projects, and future academic exchanges.

On 16 September 2025, the OSCE Academy had the honour of welcoming H.E. Ambassador Terhi Hakala, Special Envoy of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, accompanied by H.E. Janne Heiskanen, Ambassador of Finland to Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, Ms. Annika Pelkonen, Senior Specialist in the Finnish OSCE Chairpersonship 2025 Task Force at the MFA of Finland, Ms. Seraina Petersen, Policy Support Officer at the OSCE Conflict Prevention Centre, Ambassador Dr. Volker Frobarth, Head of the OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek (POiB), and Mr. Colin McCullough, Senior Planning and Coordination Officer at POiB.

On 11 September 2025, students of the MA Programme in Human Rights and Sustainability (MAHRS) of the OSCE Academy's Global Campus (GC) Central Asia, visited the Delegation of the European Union to the Kyrgyz Republic. This visit was organized as part of the week-long EU Module led by Dr. Clara Portela, a Professor at the University of Valencia.

On 10 September 2025, the delegation of representatives of youth networks from the Republic of Tajikistan visited the OSCE Academy as part of a study visit to the Kyrgyz Republic to learn best practices in the field of gender equality, political participation of youth, as well as the prevention of gender stereotypes, discrimination and domestic violence.

On 2 September 2025, H.E. Ambassador Raphael Naegeli, the Permanent Representative of Switzerland to the OSCE and the UN in Vienna, visited the OSCE Academy. He was welcomed by Dr. Pal Dunay, the Director of the OSCE Academy; Dr. Shairbek Dzhuraev, the Deputy Director; Dr. Burulcha Sulaimanova, the Head of the Research and Training Department; and Ms. Victoria Orazova, the Head of the International Department.

On 2 September 2025, Mr. Constantin Zelenty, Deputy Head of Mission at the German Embassy to Kyrgyzstan, held a session with students of the MA programme in Human Rights and Sustainability (MAHRS) at the OSCE Academy. During this session, students engaged in discussions with Mr. Zelenty about regional human rights issues and explored how Germany is actively contributing to addressing these pressing challenges.

On 1 September 2025, the OSCE Academy welcomed new graduate students of Politics and Security (PS), Economic Governance and Development (EGD), and Human Rights and Sustainability (MAHRS) programmes, marking the beginning of the new academic year. The incoming classes are comprised of 54 students; 44 of them were present while the Academy is waiting for the arrival of ten students from Afghanistan.

On 20 August, Mr. Glenn Zyzanski, First Secretary at the Embassy of Canada to Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan, visited the OSCE Academy during his introductory trip to Kyrgyzstan. He was warmly received by Dr. Pal Dunay, the Director of the OSCE Academy, and Ms. Victoria Orazova, the Head of the International Department. During their meeting, Dr. Dunay provided Mr. Zyzanski with an overview of the Academy's history and its activities in the region, emphasizing its role as a higher education institution and a platform for dialogue and peace. Mr. Zyzanski, in his turn, expressed his interest in the Academy's activities as well as was curious to discuss a broad array of regional political affairs.

On 18 August 2025, Professor Andrew J. Nathan from Columbia University visited the OSCE Academy during his trip to Kyrgyzstan. He was accompanied by Ms. Jessica Leonard, Regional Director for Central Asia at the American Councils in Almaty, Kazakhstan. They were warmly welcomed by Dr. Emilbek Dzhuraev, Senior Lecturer in Politics and Security, Dr. Sebastian Mayer, DAAD Associate Professor, and Ms. Victoria Orazova, Head of the International Department.
