Alumni in Dushanbe met to discuss Security Issues in the Region
On 30 April the OSCE Academy alumni in Tajikistan met for the annual Chapter Meeting. This year Dr. Christian Bleuer met graduates in Dushanbe and presented the topic: "Central Asia's Role in the International Security System."

Regional Training on Writing of the Technical and Economic Feasibility Studies for Projects
From 23 to 27 April, the OSCE Academy conducted its regular regional training on writing feasibility studies for investment projects in the context of state development policies (industrial development, export promotion, and infrastructure development).

President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly meets MA Students
On 20 April the President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly George Tsereteli, accompanied by Dr. Loïc Simonet, Senior External Co-operation Officer of the OSCE Liaison to Brussels-based Institutions and Ms. Farimah Daftary, Programme Officer of the OSCE PA, paid a visit to the OSCE Academy and met students of the MA Programme in Politics and Security.

Masterclass: Interviews as Method in the Social Sciences & Humanities
In July the OSCE Academy is planning to conduct a one-week workshop, which is designed to foster the skillset of post-graduate students of the social sciences and the humanities to conduct and to analyse and interpret interviews.

OSCE High-Level Representatives visit the Academy
On 18 April a delegation of representatives from OSCE institutions, including Ambassador Peṧko, Director of the Conflict Prevention Center, the heads of OSCE Field Missions in Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan, as well as representatives of the OSCE Troika, visited the Academy within the framework of their participation in the Regional Heads of Field Missions Meeting in Bishkek.

OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities visited the OSCE Academy
On 11 April the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities (HCNM) Ambassador Lamberto Zannier met students and faculty of the OSCE Academy and delivered a lecture about the functions of the HCNM and its approaches to work with minority issues.

Regional Training on Regulatory Impact Analysis
On 9 April the Academy’s regular Regional Training on the analysis of the impact of regulatory legal acts for junior and mid-level public officials from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan started at the OSCE Academy.
