On 29 May 2026, the Board of Trustees of the OSCE Academy was held in an online format in Bishkek and Vienna. The meeting was presided by H.E. Ambassador Dr. Volker Frobarth, Head of the OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek and Chairman of the BoT of the OSCE Academy.
The meeting addressed a broad range of issues, including the following: 1. The Global Campus of Human Rights was adopted as member of the BoT, 2. The establishment of the Audit and Risk Management Subcommittee (ARMS) of the BoT continued to move forward in the direction of the recruitment of its members, 3. The Chairman of the BoT put forward a document on the strategic direction of the OSCE Academy. It will consist of two elements, on administrative relations between the OSCE Academy and the POiB, and on academic development. 4. The Director of the OSCE Academy presented an update on the activities during the last five months. 5. The next in person meeting will be held in Vienna on the 21st of July to be followed by the annual reporting of the OSCE POiB and the OSCE Academy to the OSCE Permanent Council on the 23rd.
