The OSCE Academy in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan advertises the call for applications to its Position of BA Programme Specialist.
The OSCE Academy in Bishkek is a public foundation, created in 2002 as a result of partnership between the Kyrgyz Government and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). The OSCE Academy promotes values and principles of the OSCE through research, post-graduate education, professional trainings, and intellectual exchange.

Key duties and responsibilities of the BA Programme Specialist are as follows:
- Coordinate the implementation and day-to-day administration of the Bachelor’s programme;
- Maintain student records and databases, provide administrative support to students throughout the academic year, and manage e-learning platforms and student information systems;
- Liaise with the Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Innovation of the Kyrgyz Republic, including preparing reports, working with online government platforms, verifying students’ documents, and preparing state diplomas;
- Organize and coordinate internship placements for Bachelor’s students;
- Work closely with faculty and Head of Department of Education to develop the curriculum, prepare class schedules, and coordinate teaching assignments;
- Provide administrative and logistical support to faculty members;
- Organize programme-related meetings, prepare agendas, record minutes, and maintain relevant documentation;
- Ensure the implementation and regular updating of the Bachelor’s programme policies, regulations, and procedures;
- Coordinate the programme accreditation process in accordance with national requirements and international quality assurance standards;
- Assist in preparing and monitoring the programme budget and related financial forecasts;
- Maintain and regularly update the Bachelor’s programme website and other communication channels;
- Carry out other duties related to the programme as assigned by the administration.
Qualifications and eligibility:
- higher education (at least Bachelor’s degree) in the humanities, social sciences, or a related field
- at least three years of working experience in higher education
- excellent knowledge of oral and written Russian and English (knowledge of Kyrgyz language will be an asset)
- experience working with e-learning platforms and students information systems
- experience of interaction with the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic will an asset
- excellent analytical skills, experience of working with a large amount of information and documentation within a short period of time
- excellent organizational, planning and multi-tasking skills
- high level of stress resistance
- superb written and oral communication skills
- proficient with MS Office programs
