On 29 August 2026, the Director of the OSCE Academy, Dr. Pal Dunay held a meeting with Mr. Christian Görke, member of the German parliament, the Bundestag, his colleague Mr. André Nowak, and Mr. Lars Feyen, the Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of Germany in Kyrgyzstan.
Mr. Görke is Acting Chair of the Finance Committee, and Spokesperson for the Committee on Sports and Volunteering of the Bundestag. He visits Kyrgyzstan in that latter capacity for the Nomad Games that start in the next days. Mr. Görke visited Kyrgyzstan several times. He is engaged in international parliamentary relations as the chairperson of the German-Central Asian Parliamentary Friendship Group.
This was Mr. Görke’s first meeting with a representative of the OSCE Academy. The conversation extended to the activities of the Academy, the German contribution to its work, including personnel and budget, as well as to the political and social development of Kyrgyzstan.
