Biography

Kanybek Cherikov is a tax lawyer and educator with over 20 years of experience in tax law, consulting, and legal education. He has extensive professional experience in tax advisory and business taxation, including as a Tax Senior at Deloitte & Touche (2008-2012) and as a Tax Lawyer at Kalikova & Associates law firm (2005-2008).

He has been the Co-Founder of Cherikov & Partners, an accounting firm in Bishkek, since 2014, and has also been teaching tax law and business taxation through professional education programmes since 2015. From 2007 to 2008, he served as an Instructor at Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, where he taught in the Faculty of Law.

Mr. Cherikov holds a Specialist degree in Law from Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (2002-2007). In 2025, he received a State Certificate of Appreciation (“Alkysh”) for his contribution to the intellectual development of the Kyrgyz Republic.
