Dr. Elvis Fokala is a legal scholar and researcher specialising in child law, family law, and human rights. He is currently an Associate Professor at the Centre for Human Rights, Faculty of Law, University of Pretoria, and also serves as the Academic Coordinator of the LLM in Multidisciplinary Human Rights. He is a visiting Professor of Children’s Rights at the OSCE, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. He has specialised knowledge and a growing list of publications, including edited books in Child law and Family law.

Qualifications:

–          PhD in Public International Law from Åbo Akademi University, Finland,

–          LLM in Multidisciplinary Human Rights Law from the Centre for Human Rights, University of Pretoria, South Africa,

–          LLB (Hons) from the University of Buea, Cameroon.
